The “Books I’ll (Probably) Never Read” Tag!

I was tagged to do this by Ginny aka The Sassy Library Fox. If you enjoy books reviews and poetry and other bookish content, then I recommend you check out her blog. ❤ Okay, let’s get on with the tag!

1) a really hyped book you’re not interested in reading:

For this on I am going to go with Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I will generally pick up any book, regardless of genre, but this is one popular YA book that I really have no interest in reading. I’ve heard a lot of things about this book that make me think that it might not be the book for me!

2) a series you won’t start/won’t be finishing:

I read the first four books of this series but they gradually went downhill for me. I’ve heard that the author is planning to release more books in the series, and I do not think that I’m going to read them. I know a lot of people love this series, but I didn’t so onward to better books, I say.

3) a classic you’re not interested in:

I am not averse to classics, in fact I am currently reading a fantastic one called Animal Farm, but there are classics that I know I have no interest whatsoever in. One of these is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I’ve read two books by Dickens before and while I sort of liked A Christmas CarolA Tale of Two Cities made sure that I had no interest in reading anything else from Mr. Dickens ever again.

4) a genre you never read:

I generally dabble in all genres. Genre is no reason not to read a book! I read fantasy, realistic fic, classics etc etc. But Christian non fic and Christian fic are not in my range of interests. Which is logical since I am not Christian. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5) a book on your shelves you’ll probably never actually read:

I’ll have to say that if a book is on my shelves then I’ll probably read it. There’s a 99.99% chance that I will, actually. Buying books for me is rare, so I don’t buy books needlessly nor do I buy books that I don’t think I will enjoy. (Sometimes I don’t enjoy the books I buy though, sadly.) Right now I want to read all the books on my shelves (I pretty much have, except like two).

So here we are, at the end of the tag! I hope you enjoyed it and if you think it looks fun, go ahead and do it on your own blog. For my part, I am going to nominate: The book prescription, Starry sky books, and Reading with rendz.
