Not the right kind of love

In Honor of the Gay Community of Brunei

We live in a world
where love is punishable by death,
tell me how good this world is,
tell me and I will laugh.
I see no goodness when stones
are allowed to fly at a human who’s
only crime was the wrong kind of loving.
And these people say
that God will let them into heaven.
I’ve never heard such lies
I’ve never seen such cruelty,
except on the faces of those
who believe it their right to
decide who in this world deserves liberty.

No matter what your thoughts on homosexuality are, you have no right to deprive your fellow human beings of their lives just because they are gay. We all have the right to a free and happy life.
